Well, that better make Malta good and damned rich, because they’re destroying their legacy.
Yes, the tower miight have noticed fabric trailing off the wing. Binoculars might id there’s a guy on it, okay.
But the guy’s pretty stressed by now. If still conscious, how might he react to the the jet powering up?
Anyway hitting the sea at even the slowest speed of that jet plus the fall would be like hitting a brick wall.
Unfortunately, time move on and there has to be some give with a place like that. With the plans they have for a Smart City they will need more first class hotel rooms to accommodate the business travellers.
Oh, yeah, right.
If the guy had a knife, my money’s on him using it.
A Smart City is a huge leap from historical preservation. Especially on such prime property. Don’t have anything of less significance to destroy?
The Smart City is being built about 3 miles away on part of the coast where they used to make movies.
You’re almost making Malta sound like Dubai with its explosive expansion.
Actually, the Dubai is bankrolling the Smart City.
Here is an article on the coaching job search in the local Ann Arbor paper. It says that Carr told the Athletic Director before the season started he would step down at the end of the season. I think it has some interesting quotes, good ones to stop speculation: http://www.mlive.com/sports/annarbornews/index.ssf?/base/sports-2/1195558843221830.xml&coll=2
Ow!
Okay, what’s the deal?
Thanks :)
The Maltese government is giving them the land and Dubai will round up large High Tech corporation to participate in the scheme as Malta is not in the European Union.
They had a signing ceremony and showed the plans in October but it will take about eight years for it to be complete.
I do not know where they are going to get the skilled manpower for companies.
Sorry - Malta is now in the European Union.
Barack Obama raps Hillary Clinton for resume jabs; poll has him pulling ahead
BY KENNETH R. BAZINET, DAILY NEWS WASHINGTON BUREAU
Tuesday, November 20th 2007.
WASHINGTON - Barack Obama charged Monday that Hillary Clinton acts as if she were a cabinet secretary instead of First Lady when she attacks his resume.
"My understanding is she wasn't treasury secretary in the Clinton administration. I don't know exactly what experience she's claiming," Obama told reporters in Iowa, where a new poll shows he's now leading among Democratic contenders.
"Rather than just assert experience, if she has specific differences with me in regard to economic policy, then let's have that debate," added the Illinois senator.
It was the second counterpunch thrown by Obama in two days. He jumped all over Clinton last weekend when conservative columnist Robert Novak wrote that her campaign has dirt on Obama. He blamed the Clinton camp, which had to deny it was peddling political muck.
Dubai isn’t running out of room on their own land, so what’s the motive and why do you wonder about the skilled labor?
I didn’t know Malta’s not in the EU, assumed it was.
Yes, like maybe what was kind of feelers, 1st, 2nd or 3rd party, were put out back earlier in the season after Coach Carr said he planned to retire.
