Allison Krauss and Robert Plant and a free download closes day with a nice uptick. Enjoy the song, it is good. Stranger things have happened but I can't think of any right now.

As much as I'd like to hear it, it's not totally "free". They want a email address for licensing.
I don't want to hear it that bad.

'Led Zeppelin were a country band' Makes sense. Led Zep were a band whos music drew heavily from Folk, Country, Blues, Jazz, and Rock n Roll ... all uniquely American forms of music (excepting Folk)

Led Zep (along with Yes and ELP) ruined rock and roll with 15 minute solos and Brit pretentiousness. Robert Plant now looks like the old lady he always was.

Reminds me of the band “Hayseed DC”. Play AC-DC songs to a bluegrass beat. Kinda niche market I guess.

Stranger things? The Jimi Hendrix Experience toured on a packaged bill with Englebert Humperdink and Jimi was called upon to fill in for one of the musicians one night.

striking new collaboration between ex-Zep singer Robert Plant and bluegrass star Alison Krauss is not as unlikely as it seemsOnly a little more striking IMO than Allison's 'collaboration' with Elvis Costello.
What does she see in that guy.
