It seems people like to bash the Pats when they do what every other team does or tries to do. I guess when you are the current best everyone want to take a shot.

The Pats did bring in the 2nd string guy who promptly gave 7 back to the Dolphins. If the Fins would roll over then then the Pats could have rust handed off the rest of the game.

No, because he's a) handing the ball off, and b) 2 scores within 4 minutes is still a very surmountable lead.

If he was up by three or more scores and passing half the time or more, then yes, that would be running up the score.
