A Scottish fisherman has turned down an offer worth £1million from Donald Trump to move.
Michael Forbes, 52, owns a small farm on the estate where the billionaire wants to build a £500million golf resort.
Mr Trump has described the home as an "eyesore" and wants Mr Forbes, his wife and elderly mother to leave.
However, Mr Forbes is digging his heels in.
His determination to stay put forced Trump Corporation to offer him £350,000 and a £50,000-ayear job for life on the proposed development. But it failed to impress.
Mr Forbes said: "I told them from the start the place wasn't for sale.
"I wouldn't go and work for them if it was the last job in the world."
The stand-off has been compared to the film Local Hero in which a local blocks a bid by an American oil baron to buy an entire Scottish village.

This is the full title, but it would not fit :
Trump offers the kilted curmudgeon standing in the way of his golf resort £1million - and is turned down
Cool!
I doubt this is the last we hear about this. Trump is good at getting what he wants, pretty sneaky too.
I heard he financed a hotel, but was always late paying. So, one day, the bank has had enough, comes and demands payment or else. So Trump asks them, where you going to park the cars in your new hotel?
The parking lot of the hotel, was a separate property, owned by Trump...
Very!
“...kilted curmudgeon...”?
How about “crass moneyed curmudgeon tries to buy off principled Scotsman”?
Trump is very sneaky.
I never heard the final story, but Trump got the government of Atlantic City to condemn / steal some old lady’s home for Trump to use with his new casino.
She hired a lawyer and was fighting back.
Here’s your Scot Chanti!!
Neil Hobday, project director for the planned resort on the Aberdeenshire coast, insisted the firm wasn’t “a cruel squeezing developer”.
Watch trump by the land around him, land lock him, or buy up the utility for power and water.
Fellow should have taken the money, joined the club, then acted like a complete jackass at the club, badmouthed Trump to every guest...
Rockfeller did the same thing to a bunch of ranchers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Jr. hired some lawyers who went around the valley buying up family ranches. One of their schemes was to offer a life time job.
The trusting ranchers often only got a verbal promise of wages for life and were fired after a few months when the title work was completed.
So, if someone calls you a “Jackson Hole”, they’re implying you’re no good for your word?
The term is older than that.
Jackson Hole ...gets the name “hole” from early trappers who primarily entered the valley from the north and east and had to descend down into the valley along relatively steep slopes, giving the sensation of entering a hole.
The valley is named for David (Davey) Edward Jackson, a mountain man who trapped the area for beaver in the early nineteenth century.

Trump’s got a nerve complaining about an eyesore, with that rug he wears.
It was funny when Arnold said to Donald : You got your hair just right.
Props to the fellow kilt-wearer.
I would tell Mr. Trump not to look at my eyesore, if it caused him pain, LOL.
There are some things that money can’t buy, Donald!
That is a photo of a real man. God bless him and give day to more like him.
He was probably a hottie 30 years ago.
