Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk

It looks like the cast of Star Trek XI is coming together ... all that's left is Captain Pike, and Bones McCoy.
Here's a picture of the cast so far ...

You can’t just recast magic.
Hopefully this will have a good of a plot as TFF, and the box office of Nemesis.

Yes, Bertram “Bertie” Wooster would be a good choice.

I think the movie is a prequel to the Original Star Trek series.

Silar is a Vulcan??? Who knew? Even better. He's a Vulcan clone. I wonder how many times before he was cast in this role that people said, "You know, you really look like Leonard Nemoy. Are you sure the guy you call Dad is your real Dad?"

This is a prequel to Startrek TOS. They are supposed to be college age.

He's a dead ringer for Leonard Nimoy, though. I've like him as Sylar in Heroes, and he was good in 24 a couple of years back. Should be a good Spock.

Actually, I’m kind of looking forward to it.
They’ve done a good job recently of reinvigorating James Bond (Daniel Craig), Batman (Christain Bale) and Superman (Brandon Routh).
I’d like to see Trek reinvigorated as well. J.J. Abrams, the guy who did Alias and Lost, is the director. Its been a while since Kirk was in a movie, so it seems a good time to reinvent the original cast. Nimoy is supposed to be in the movie as an older Spock, and I think they’re trying to work Shatner in, too ... hopefully it’ll work.

This is a prequel to Startrek TOS. They are supposed to be college age. The Star Wars prequels, while they made money, were artistic flops. The Star Trek "Enterprise" prequel was mediocre at best. Maybe, just maybe, the ought not make a prequel!

This is a prequel to Startrek TOS. They are supposed to be college age.Merely a clever ploy to disguise the fact that Hollywood is completely out of ideas. I'm pulling for Grahame Frost to play Kirk in the pre-prequel "Star Trek: The Junior High Years!".
