I lost all my bookmarks

Posted on 10/14/2007 11:12:59 AM PDT by bamabound

Hey folks, Does anyone have the links to a post of all the quotes of democrats, pre 9/11, advocating taking our Saddam and Iraq having WMD.

I lost all my bookmarks when FireFox crashed my system. I am currently discussing GWB's discussion witha liberal who does not know Bush was just echoing the previous administration.

Thanks in advance and I will be backing up on the web next time.

Whats Root?

It's Unix e.g. Mac OS X or Linux

an application program can never takeover the system

You can always {force quit} the rogue application

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here.

You can get there from here and you can get here from there. What's down is up and what's up is down and the sky is lavender.

Word up, fo' schizzle.

When Firefox crashed on you, was it trying to update any files for Firefox ? anyway, even if you have not reformatted your PC as the other person said, you might be able to get the bookmarks even by going to ( Import ) go to ( File ) and look down the list,,, and you might, and I say , Might, be able to still get the bookmarks that way.
There have been times when I downloaded a newer version of Firefox and I was still able to get the old book marks.
Sometimes I save the book mark file in ( my documents ) as a backup.

Next time Firefox freezes, try hitting ( CTRL-ALT-DEL ) all at the same time and Windows Task Manager will come up and look down the list for Firefox.exe and you can close Firefox application that way.... and restart Firefox.

Still could not exit firefox. In the performance tab in Task manager, the cpu usage was pegged with no other apps running!

But the good news is I found my bookmarks in application data as per KoRn’s post.
