I’m pretty astounded that they reportedly found levels equivalent to 20-some pills in daniel, with another 26 in his suitcase? How could anyone take 20 pills at one time? Maybe a hard-core addict, but still...that’s a LOT of swallowing unobserved by anyone!

I wonder if the pills were ‘loose’ or in a container? Just from watching ‘cops’ seems like it’s just a few pills that are bought at any one time from pushers. So 46 pills seems like an aweful lot - especially like you said, chancing coming thru Bahama customs and into a country where methadone is illegal. He was coming to rescue his mom, not serve a life sentence in Fox Hill for transporting narcotics fcol.

I wonder if there are slightly different metabolites for the liquid form of methadone versus the pill form? I just can’t see Daniel taking the same drug he reportedly told friends he hated Howard for getting him addicted to when he was younger and that he hated Howard for getting his mom addicted to. Makes no sense. jmo

Ground up in his food seems about right. No one went with Howard to get the food. He had opportunity and motive.

The next opportunity would be when he "felt tired" which was more likely "felt dizzy". A good opportunity for Howard to give Daniel "tea" laced with ???

Chloral Hydrate was the "so called" mickey (sp?). Still waiting to find out if Daniel was ever tested for chloral hydrate.

I’ll never believe Daniel took those pills willingly. I believe they were slipped to him. He applied for a 90 day visa to the Bahamas and the lady said he seemed fine. If he had ingested anywhere near that amount of pills, wouldn’t he have been as ‘out of it’ as his mother seemed to be so much of the time? His adrenalin had to be pumping seeing his mom for the first time in months and meeting his new baby sister, so why did he suddenly get sleepy after eating food HKS brought in? There are too many things pointing to HKS and KE for it all to be a coincidence. I think the Bahamian officials dropped the ball bigtime in this investigation. What do you think?
