You make a very good point about the Sterns knowing that they weren't grandparents. Makes me think that Howard had a vasectomy at some point and his parents "recommended" the physician.

Now...just a little footnote: I accessed the Ca license site (I think) and inquired about KE. It says she is a SURGEON and physician.

I think somehow the Thompson "vasectomy story" was a mixup....similar to the "I can't call 9-11 bit in Florida"....and it was Howard who had the vasectomy!!

Just rambling I guess...but no one in Howard's crowd seems to tell the same story twice.

Too bad Rita was in such a hurry to get her book *out there* - she failed to include facts on many important time-lines, actors and details.

For instance: the name of the school HK$ called. Have to believe there was a contact there - someone important. Do not believe it had anything to do with child care. The only child he would need to check on during this time period would be DL - and we have established she was in the Bahamas.
