I don’t need any sunlight.....I still glow in the dark, complements of U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion.

Im already not liking the 5pm dusk. I concur. In '93 I had a 12 mile commute home by bicycle and didn't much like doing the whole trip dependent on my bike lights (not as good as today's) to (1st half) ward off cars and (2nd half) find my way on a riverside bikepath beset with fog.

But do you have sunlight on a cloudy day?
And when it’s cold outside, do you have the muffins made?

Quite so! It’s been on markdown at the Harris Teeter for several weeks. The South African government is obviously on a major wine marketing binge!

That’s nice. Your dogz can find you in the dark, even if you smell like garlic.

My father used to say that beer is beer, when Olympia or Pabst Blue Ribbon was on sale at the package store.
Later in life, he observed that life is too short to drink cheap wine, while I observed that life is too long to drink no wine!

Well, they’ve been having a spot of trouble wresting wealth out of the ground in other ways lately.

Bummer about that. The world has noticed that you can’t eat or drink gold and diamonds!

"The world has noticed that you cant eat or drink gold and diamonds!" Actually you can. A bit of gold leaf on your chocolate covered truffles, Madame?
It isn't healthy for you, but you're rich, right?

Good point, but I’d rather have cauliflower curry. Harris Teeter had beautiful cauliflowers, two for one!

"Later in life, he observed that life is too short to drink cheap wine, while I observed that life is too long to drink no wine!" I say it somewhat differently. "Moderation in everything, including moderation."

I used to go riding around Pearl Harbor early in the morning...they had a great bike path, but unlit. I had a Night Sun bike lite—the battery was the size of a 1 quart water bottle...it had high and low beams....I used to get yelled at by the old people as they walked on the bike path...so I’d flash them with the high beams and really give them something to howl about.

The dogz only seem to want to find me when they are hungry. That’s OK...at least I know I have some level of utility in their world.

LOL! The catz are being extremely friendly around 5:30 a.m. Shannon jumps on my pillow, purring, and Wednesday nibbles my ankles when I get to the bottom of the stairs.
At least it gives me a few minutes of quiet (except for the munching) before the offspring get up!

Hard to sleep with catz on your pillow! I like to be up by 6:00, and have everyone up by 6:30. That way, we can get through the school day in time for napz at 1:00 p.m. (Ideally ...)
