We moved from Boston in 1967 so I never knew the guy.But it is kind of neat to tell other Red Sox fans.
I grew up watching/listening to every game....it was nice to see them win it all and hopefully again this year!!

Ha! Millar doing the lineup and the first pitch! Man, that has got to piss off the Baltimore fans. I love that guy.
To: misterrob
Yes, he came across as sincere. Two questions come to mind: the price tag and the amount of HGH seems very high. Is it the practice of doctors to prescribe such large amounts of growth hormone?

1,000 vials is what the records indicated. That might be one shot per day over three years.

It doesn't appear that Byrd was using it for any legit purpose. Just what we don't need now.

I’m trying to listen to the radio and watch the game with mute turned on. Its not working though. The radio lags the TV. Just my luck.
To: big'ol_freeper
Dice K is sharp in the early going...

My husband is yelling (to Dice-K and ‘Tek): Throw the curveball! Why throw 8 out of 9 fastballs? What happened to his five other pitches?

Daisuke is throwing some heat tonight.
To: big'ol_freeper
He only threw 13 pitches.
To: mylife
Damn he’s throwing hard. I have never seen him throw 96-97 before.
Tek called a few too many fastballs (big surprise). Could have mixed in a change and curve a bit more.

Dice-K has the velocity, but he’d better mix up his pitches...

"These announcers are assholes." Yes they are, Boston and Cleveland fans can both agree on that.

Tek is the culprit. I am okay with him establishing a hard fastball tonight but he has to mix the curve and change.
