(That's right, I have no proof. So what of it??)

Sabathia pitched all around Ortiz, Ramirez, and Lowell. When he needed a strike to Kielty, his control was lost, got behind, and had to groove one.

I’d pull Beckett and give him the ball in Game 4 on 3 days rest after only 67 pitches tonight.

I’d rather give the ball to Lester to finish this and start Beckett in Game 4.

According to Gammons the Yankees were on the phone to Minnesota asking about Santana for Wong and someone else.
Panic move. With Kennedy, Hughes, Wong and the Chambermaid that’s a damned good staff.

I think one more inning would make sense. Cleveland can hit HRs and Lester will give up a few.

Oh, I do recall a game in Cleveland where the Sox were cruising and wound up giving up a bunch in no time at all.
The wound up winning 14-11 or something like that.
That was after trading 1-0 shutouts.

A straight trade Wong for Santana is not good for the Twins.
Twins should make the Yankees pay through their noses to get Santana.
