My experience is similar to yours. She starts CLOCKWISE and then if I look off center, she reverses.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Unless the program can read minds, that isn’t true. I can make it appear to change direction pretty reliably, after a little playing.
Optical illusion is right, and a pretty cool one! I’m not as convinced of the whole right brain / left brain analysis part of the story, though.
Some people would argue they can’t read my mind because I don’t have a brain. I don’t counterargue
:)
The only way I was able to see her counter clockwise was to start at the lower foot, then slowly start upward. Otherwise, always clockwise to me.
My brain says she’s whether she’s “clockwise” or “counter-clockwise” depends on whether you’re looking down on her or up at her.
It is a trick. She changes directions. I was following the shadown on the ground and it switched so i refreshed and it started anti(wtf)-clockwise then changed directions again.
Close to that for me. I can "will" the foot shadow to go counterclockwise, and the body follows! And then stays that way, sometimes, until I look away.
When I look back, she spins clockwise again.
I know the feeling. At first I thought she could only be going counterclockwise. Then I managed to “will” her to turn the other way, and it seemed equally obvious that she could only turn that way. What a weird and interesting illusion.
I wonder if one direction is more correct than the other? I think her shadow might be the key.
I can only get clockwise. Help!
Hold a piece of paper over her whole body only exposing the ankle and foot. Will the foot to spin in the other direction(This may take several minutes). When the foot is spinning the way you want it, remove the paper!
Thanks...I tried it again, watching the shadow; but she just won’t turn around for me!
I wonder what it says about my imagination that I can’t look at her both ways.
Also, I always heard that I was LEFT-brained because I’m right handed.
?
I don’t buy it. She’s going clockwise, but I fall strongly in the left brain category for functions.
I briefly got it to go counterclockwise, but only for about 2 seconds.
I was thinking the same thing. Follow the point of the big toe in the shadow and then hit refresh.
Clockwise, though I can make her go the other way. Ha ha ha.
Now all we need is for someone to say the inevitable, "I'd hit it."
Confirmed it’s part of the programming to switch. My co-worker and I just sat here and she was going exactly the same direction at the same time for both - and switched at the same time.
Just a clever little gif, nothing else.
Gee they have web client apps that can read my mind! Wow. I can make here change back and forth at will, explain that.
I’m leftie and she’s going clockwise but i do see some ccw as well. Weird stuff.
