The curse of Hillary remains intact as the Yankees go down to defeat three games to one. The final score is 6-4 Indians.

I'd like to see Joe Torre get hired as manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is a class act with a total horse's rear end for a boss.

It’s a little hot in Dallas Joe than NYC, but the Rangers could use you if George dumps you as he has said.

Oct 2000.. . .The Yanks last won a World Series defeating the New York Mets in five games.

Nov. 2000....New York elects Hillary Clinton, an Illinois native who declares herself "A lifelong Yankees fan," to the Senate.

Since then it's been a series of disappointments:

2001: The usually reliable Mariano Rivera get roughed up in the 9th inning of game 7 and the Yankees lose the World Series to Arizona Diamondbacks.

2002: An 8 run 5th inning finishes the Yankees as they Lose the Division Series to Anaheim Angels in four.

2003: Lost World Series to Florida Marlins in six in which the Marlins become the first opposing team to win the World Series at Yankee Stadium since 1981.

2004: In the biggest choke in sports history, after being up 3-0 the Yankees lose Championship Series to Red Sox in seven.

2005: Yankees bat 0.194 with runners in scoring position and lose Division Series to Anaheim Angels in five.

2006: Touted by some as having the best offense of all time, the Yankees after winning game 1 in a series that everyone and their mom thought they would sweep, the Yankee bats fall asleep including a stretch where they were shut out for 20 2/3 innings and lose the Division Series to the Tigers 3-1

2007: After an amazing come back in the season to get the wild card, the Yankees lose to the Indians in 4 games. Most notably in game 2 where a plague of flies swarmed the field causing reliever Joba Chamberlain to lose control a give up the tying runs. When Hillary 1st ran she refused to travel to upstate New York because she claimed there were too many flies, well it looks like the flies got revenge on the Yankees..

Coincidence? I think not

Unfortunately it affects ALL New York teams as no New York Team has won any championship in any sport since Hillary was elected. Giants in 2001, Buffalo Sabers in 2006, Mets in 2006 and 2007 all have come close but have also gone down in disappointing fashion.

At least the Yankee fans shouldn’t blame a Rod, but they’ll find a way. Jeter wasn’t all that good and the pitching was sub-par.

Obviously those Yankee players aren’t making enough money.

If Steinbrenner wants to win the big one he really needs to open that wallet and buy more Allstar caliber players.

Looks to me like the only Yankee to show up was the Red Sox import.

Amazing Cleveland pitching, and you notice the Yankees never chatted in the dugout. Cleveland has a TEAM; NY has a bunch of multi-million-dollar-contract Prima Donna’s, only interested in individual agrandizement.

I hope Torre tells Steinbrenner where to go and and then quits before Steinbrenner fires him. Steinbrenner’s such an a**.
