Kids today are exposed to sex at a much earlier age than ever before
It doesn't take a field of experts to understand why kids are so sexed up these days. Listen to the most popular rap songs or turn on MTV for a few hours and watch the latest rap videos. Almost every one of them have explicitly sexual themes, vulgar language and visuals - and this is programming aimed at 12-18 year-old kids!
Throw prime-time TV shows where almost every situation or joke is about sex into the mix and you'll understand why it's as bad out there as it is.

Well, when Jesus Christ was expelled form the public school system, that’s when the real problems started. We can all thank Madalyn Murray O’Hair for that move.

Unfortunately, Mr G heard a similar story about 8th graders in a school he does some work in.
My opinion? Too much availability of porn, both on cable TV and on line, and not enough parental involvement. 20+ years ago I kicked a neighbor kid out of my house who had obviously been watching porn.... and he was about 7 or 8. How else do you explain him doing pelvis thrusts and saying “hump me baby, hump me”. (obviously he didn’t play with my kids any more)
Not only do those channels not appear on my TV, but because the g-kids know how to get to *every* channel, they are locked. But, even so, my g-kids get way too much sex with the tv shows that are on, even the kid friendly shows and sitcoms on nowadays.

"I think there should be more supervision. If that's the case and they have enough time to do such things, obviously there's not people there to supervise them," Sometimes teachers have to step out of the room for a bit. ...for a variety of reasons. That's always been the case. So unless schools hire teachers' aides for every classroom kids are going to be alone on occasion.

I moved to Fort Bend County in 1980 to get my son out of the Houston (HISD) schools. He has a PhD in physics now so it was a good move. I sure hope the FBISD schools haven’t descended to the HISD level now.

What the hell is with sex in school these days?
Doesn't make sense. In my rural county, school was always "recovery" time.

the wildest thing for us
was kids with hickeys.

their parents,It was their parents fault, a teacher has ever right to expect that parents have taught eighth graders not to behave like animals.

Still, some parents said it all boils down to a lack of respect.
I see this as the biggest problem. Mainstream America has destroyed the concept of respect. The music industry continues to put out crap that is disrespectful to both guys and girls and the tv industry has a whole slew of shows which make parents look like idiots. Put that together with many parents' lackadasical attitude toward raising their children and you get what is currently going on.

This weekend of fun and frolic takes place in the shadows of the Nancy Pelosi and Diane Feinstein mansions. They should be forced to explain why this exhibition is allowed to continue in broad daylight with children in attendance.
Oh, but don't tell Nancy Pelosi this. Isn't she the woman who holds all children in her arms to protect them from stuff like this? And then she says nothing about this event which took place IN THE DISTRICT that she represents.
