This report hopes to assist in protecting the right of the people to keep and bare arms, individually and collectively, for the safety of the individual, and for the safety of the nation. There are certain fundamental laws and principles over which public officials have no authority to alter or to deny--not even if they profess to have acquired the 'consent of the governed'. In this case, prohibiting possession and use of arms is not possible, because those rights which have been endowed upon man by the Creator are unalienable, and nor revocable by mankind. The purpose of this report is to show how 'consent of the governed' has become abused, and how government officials in the lead state with the help of change agents had set out to destroy the essential and unalienable right of the people to keep and bare arms, by setting into motion unauthorized and unlawful procedures and then pretend that they operated under the 'consent of the governed'.

We know they will as well.
We already signed this treaty.
Most of the morons who spout the “they will never disarm me” line won’t even join the NRA. And we are supposed to believe they will die to save something. Bullshit! and Bullshit! again.

Ain't that the truth. I AM a hillbilly and I couldn't make it past the first line before I had a similar thought. I've had plenty of typos, who hasn't? But this one is rather unfortunate.
There was no blood running in the streets of Ca. Wasn't there a town in Illinois not too long ago where they required all gun owners to register their guns? It's been a while so I don't remember exactly.
And a good tag line it is.
Four boxes:
Soap,
ballot,
jury,
ammo.
Use in that order.
“There was no blood running in the streets of Ca. Wasn’t there a town in Illinois not too long ago where they required all gun owners to register their guns? It’s been a while so I don’t remember exactly.”
Kalifornia don’t count, sorry. Massachusetts on the Pacific.
As far as registering guns, all mine ARE registered.
At least that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
The “I’ll fight them” line is bs. You will one day get a knock on the door. It will be a cop (possibly the fbi) and they will tell you which guns you have registered. They will tell you that they are taking them NOW. You will not fight. How can you? You will meekly give them the firearms. You register, you lose.
Small arms and light weapons, in our understanding, are the strictly military arms automatic rifles, machine guns, shoulder-fired missile and rocket systems, light mortars that are contributing to continued violence and suffering in regions of conflict around the world.
We separate these military arms from firearms such as hunting rifles and pistols, which are commonly owned and used by citizens in many countries. As U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft has said, just as the First and Fourth Amendments secure individual rights of speech and security respectively, the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms.
The United States believes that the responsible use of firearms is a legitimate aspect of national life. Like many countries, the United States has a cultural tradition of hunting and sport shooting. We, therefore, do not begin with the presumption that all small arms and light weapons are the same or that they are all problematic. It is the illicit trade in military small arms and light weapons that we are gathered here to address and that should properly concern us.7
anyway, i don't see the UN as the driving force in US gun-policy. especially if fred is in the whitehouse.
now, controlling ILLEGAL firearms is in everyone's interest. even 2A proponents such as myself. we need to address where criminals get their guns.
but in a free society of so many people, you have to enforce the law in a framework that attempts to reduce crime while protecting constitutionally afforded rights. it's tough, but it's the only way.
Told both my sons ( 24 and 28 ) to be sure to stock up on guns and ammo before the next pres. election.
Oh, yes yes. Here too. That's our story and we're sticking to it.
(but in a free society of so many people, you have to enforce the law in a framework that attempts to reduce crime while protecting constitutionally afforded rights. it’s tough, but it’s the only way.)
So you are for the framework which will enable the gun-grabbers to rob me of my 2nd amendment right? Kind of oil and water, isn’t it?
Agree.
The gun grabbers in washington could care less about any treaties signed with the UN. Their gun grabbing motivation is nothing but selfserving BS and has nothing to do with treaties.......
We’ve already discussed that possible scenario between ourselves. You don’t us or what we are made of.
Then you can never say, 'I didn't know'.
Ping for later...
