Until your boy Romo wins the Big One then he's not fit to tie Brett's laces.
Doesn't really matter - we voted on it. We got the stadium because Mayor Laura Miller, Democrat Mayor of Dallas, is not the brightest bulb in the lamp.
All the sports writers etc. here are comparing Romo to Favre, someone even got Favre saying that watching Romo on film was like watching a younger self.
Nobody here really buys all of that and we know they are just trying to keep everyone from comparing him to Aikman. Romo is winning, he's good, and we like him, but he has a long road to travel before we all stop missing #8.
They don't call Green Bay "Title Town" just because the uniforms look great!
A play I had all but forgotten. The Vikings have something the Cowboys can never have, A REAL NFL CHAMPIONSHIP. It also happened to be the very last NFL Championship. A few weeks latter they played a meaningless exhibition game to Kansas City. A notable credit to the Cowboys is that they did get to play in the Greatest Pro Football game of all time, but lost to Green Bay when their doomsday defense failed to stop Bart Starr's QB sneak at the end of the game. That was the Cowboys only chance of ever winning a REAL NFL CHAMPIONSHIP.
The Jaguars have been to the AFC finals twice and have made the playoff nearly half of the years they’ve been in existence. They seem mediocre because of last year’s end of season meltdown. I really don’t see Carolina being #14.
“Tom’s gunning for more than that and Terry is cheering for him.”
Terry’s a good man. Gotta admit, if anybody has a chance of tying or beating Terry it would be Tom. I would say, though, that the odds are against it. Getting to the SB is extremely hard. Winning is almost impossible.
I’ll remember that on October 14th when I am sitting behind the Pats bench in Dallas cheering them on to win by 17+ points.
How many Super Bowls have the Vikings won?
I enjoy the game myself, but am still upset at the state of New Jersey for agreeing to foot much of the bill for a new Giants Stadium, even when the first one HAS NOT BEEN PAID OFF!
The Vikings have been to 4 of those meaningless exhibition games and really tried to win the only one which had an original NFL team as their opponent, Pittsburgh. The other three games were with former AFL dirt-bag teams, so the outcome didn't matter.
Of course had the Vikings won those “meaningless exhibition games” I think you’d be singing a completely different tune.

“I know we have the greatest QB ever to play the game”
The Baltimore version had the greatest, I hear tell.
Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm??? If you are giving Dallas 17 points for their Oct 14th meeting with the Pats, I have a couple thousand dollars I can lay down for the Boys to win!
Heck, with that spread, if I can get Jerry Jones away from his pizza commercials, I'm sure he put down a million or ten!
And I'm sure most, if not all, of my NFL Ping list will also have some cash to lay down. Ya'll want some easy money, Allegra, carlr, Maximus of Texas, wallcrawlr, Tatze, TrueKnightGalahad, blackie, null and void, Larry Lucido, Diplomat, honolulugal, Dysart, Diplomat?
BTW You are paying off in US currency, right?
I think they seem mediocre because they’re in the same division as the Colts and they just aren’t Colts good. For whatever reason they just don’t get the following, they’ve closed off a bunch of seats so they can “sell out” games. Might also be a lack of exciting players, to a large degree the game is still about selling players, the Jags are a team of competent but not terribly marketable fellows, the Panthers have Smith and they had He Hate Me. To make a team popular you need big stars or championships, preferably both.
