My Raffus was basically a 20 lb cat (and boy do I miss him dearly). Sapphire is just over 10 now. She is as fast as a bullet. Maine Coons are “one man dogs” so to speak. She seems to be the hub’s cat. They BOTH love to eat! LOL

I have to admit she was a cute kitten. She looks WAY too innocent in that “please buy me” photo! 8)

How did the name “Bottle” come about. I named Raff on an old southern joke that was going around at the time.

Hi, Raffus:

I came up with the name, “Bottle” after seeing the cat come out of hiding and patiently hold her ground while I put food and water bowls under the porch and the other cat, “Thumper” ran out of arm’s reach.

“Bottle” is an olde English phrase for bravery, moxie and guile.

Jack.
