She's probably bi-polar and the kids caught her while "cycling" ~ which is probably due about now for an incredible number of bi-polar folks.
Friends and family should help them through and make sure they avoid "self" treatment.
The children should be prosecuted for harrassing an handicapped person in violation of the "Americans With Disabilities Act" (of course).

["Amanda Jane Darling Harris, 21, allegedly chased the children, aged 9 to 15, with an 18-inch samurai sword because they were playing in a parking lot.."]
Probably she has unresolved issues.

I know it's very frustrating dealing with the illegal alien problem in this country, but chasing children with a sword isn't the way to deal with it.

The woman's a hothead and chasing people in a public parking lot with a sword is certainly an assault that needs to be prosecuted, but "ethnic intimidation" is just another bogus new age crime.
Sticks and stones may break my bones but samurai swords can really hurt.
And this incident still does not make illegal immigrants legal. The feds ought to take advantage of the situation and provide the illegals with a ticket back home.

Maybe it's a very special preschool.

The big question: Did she get any experience points for the use of the sword?

“Ethnic intimidation”!! There’s a new PC term! How many Hispanics have been charged for calling Americans “Gringos”???
To: yorkie
I presume “ethnic intimidation” is a more serious crime than just plain “intimidation”? Why?

No child should ever need to experience such terror, IMHO. I am frustrated with the border problem, too, but the children need to be kept out of it.
A friend lives in Eagle, and emailed me this article - it is the talk of the town.

And to think this woman works at a Preschool.Perhaps she would be more qualified for the hotel business.

Kids lie. I see no mention of any adult corroboration. Does the woman have priors? Personally, I think the story is just too tailor made for liberal consumption. Daycare workers usually have to go through criminal background checks. If she has been employed by the day care center for any period of time that would show stability. She is definitely innocent until proven guilty in my book.

It was all just street theater and the little illegals didn’t understand their lines........nothing to see here.
All just a misunderstanding.

a number of charges, including ethnic intimidation That's a new law I've never heard of.
So if she called them little cheese heads, would it be a lesser sentence?
Or would this only apply to Wisconsin?

When I was 9, I would have been trilled to be chased with a sword.
We had a neighbor who carried a shotgun and we kids were always trespassing in hopes of being chased.
