At this point they'll take a quarterback who just won't throw interceptions.
Why? Grossman is doing fine! </s>
If Griese is the answer, it's an awful question.
And Chicago becomes an eligible draft trading partner in 2008, when the Dolphins seek to move out of the top 3 and Chicago looks for a top-flight QB prospect...
Okay to be fair to Wrecks, the first INT was not his fault but the WR (Muhammad I think) who stopped on the route, and Henry just simply stepped in front of him.
Green Bay fans no doubt would agree.
Getting drafted by the Bears as a QB is like getting the kiss of death.
Chicago plays the Lions this week, with the way they got lit up last week its probably a good place for Griese to start.
Agreed. Good way to ease him into the job.
Whatever. The Bears aren’t playing the Cowboys again this season.
What about a possible rematch in January?
Yeah, the Bears have never really impressed me as a team or as an offensive powerhouse. I don’t know what it is about the 53 men they field, I just can’t really put much faith in their offenses. Granted, they’ve been recovering from Wannstedtization.
No way, MPF, that was a team in disarray I saw Sun night. They have other problems such as poor WR play, no running game, and the OL is underachieving. Griese is not the answer.(Should put Orton back in there IHO) Then you have the injury bug that’s struck the defense. I would not be surprised if they finish 3rd in their division. That’s right, I said 3rd...
Think he’ll get the Norv Turner third shot at a head coaching job?
It’ll be interesting to see how they do against Detroit and Minnesota. The Packers must be salivating for their first shot at the Bears.
IHO=I Humbly Offer
As a die hard Bronco fan who endured the Griese era, I second that!
