No BS...before the game I was gonna predict a 17 point Tenn win, I should have done it but did’t want to look like fool if I was wrong. LOL
The Saints are the NFC’s biggest disappointment.
Chargers for the AFC.
Biggest surprise-NFC- Green Bay, AFC - Houston.
I’m impressed with Jacksonville as well.

INT, TD, sealed.

Yup … the ironic sight of people streaming OUT of the SuperDome, in contrast to all of the pushing of New Orleans and "how far the city and the team have come", is painful for Saints fans and cynically delicious otherwise.

Re my: "I swear, sportsfans, you can lead a frigging NYC lawyer to water... but the sumbitch will then demand Glenlivet single malt on the rocks!"

Your: My friend, my tastes are rather broad - Glenlivet would do, I'd prefer Laphroaig, but will drink almost any single malt...but ROCKS??? Maybe sissies and invalids might be permitted a good single malt diluted with a wee bit o' water, but mess with melting ice...never!!! Start down that road, and next thing you know you'll be sipping fruit Daiquiris with little Japanese umbrellas while sitting in a San Fran fern bar.

On your reply, I rest my case... and my shiny metal drunken ass! };^)

I think the Saints were a “one-season wonder.”

Oops ... another pick for Brees. That’s three picks, I believe.

Yes, the Chargers are a definite disappointment ... although as a Patriots fan, I am perfectly happy for the rest of the AFC to self-destruct. (LOL.)

Green Bay is a pleasant surprise ... and I am so happy to see the Texans doing well!

I posted this earlier in this thread—the best division in football is the AFC South— Indy, Jax,Tenn and Houston.
It is gonna be fun to watch these teams battle it out this year.Colts win division but the other 3 are all real good...

Personally I think whoever is from the AFC in the Super Bowl is going to win, but the NFC is improving.. Still weak but improving... I think the weak division is the NFC South.. Strong division AFC South..

No doubt, AFC South is the best and toughest division by far. All the others are just noise.

All 4 teams can D up bigtime. I think the Saints would agree with that. Drew Brees FFL owners(like me)can officially be nervous now. At least I have McNabb to fall back on.

He misses Joe Horn a lot!

Preseason I picked the Saints to win NFC, doh!!
It looks like Carolina, maybe Tampa , who has looked surprisingly good the past couple of weeks in that division.
Chicago is a wreck with Rex...GB looks good early...you gotta like Dallas in the NFC now.
Pats, Colts and Steelers in the AFC....Pit is shaping up real nice.

Yup...funny, I have NMcNagg as a QB on my fantasy team,Favre as backup. Last week McNabb did nothing and Brett had 24 points so this week I switched and Donavan had 41 points! It worked out well because Favre scored 36!
I am currently 3-0 and in first place in the FR Fantasy League...woo-hooo!
It won’t last, lol.....

Did we REALLY need to hear Archie Manning babble about “What should people think about New Orleans, two years after Katrina?”

This is really starting to get OLD, folks ...

So to is Spike Lee whining that 280,000 people refuse to move back to a CITY LEADING THE NATION IN HOMICIDES FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW.

I don’t blame em for not coming back to NOLA. The mayor’s incompetence damn near killed them two years ago.

Wow.

I watched the first few minutes, then we switched the the season premiers of Hero’s and CSI Miami. Forgot to check back afterwards, didn’t learn of the blow out til this morning.

They lost Deuce?

So much for a return to the NFC championship game for the Saints. Stunned to see Brees turned the ball over four times.
