I'm fortunate in that none of my friends ended up in the drug scene as far as I know. Of course, I've lost touch with all but one or two of them. Back in the 90's, I ran into the little sister of a guy I'd known in high school. We were both in grad school at the time although I was ten years older than most other students. I think most of them were under the impression that I was from out west or somewhere other than Tennessee. I was talking to this girl and asked her about a guy I remember who had her same last name. She got the strangest look on her face and said, "That's my brother." She was amazed when she learned that I had run around with her brother. He and I exchanged a couple of e-mails, but I ended up losing touch again.

That's what usually happens with me. Seems we all get busy again.....and time marches on. I've had so much going on in the past 10 years..... I'm surprised I keep up with any close relatives.... lol
