I support the right of Kerry to speak. I support the right of the students to invite Kerry to speak to them. I support the right of students to ask questions if the forum provides for it. I do not support the student who was being disruptive. His rights to be heard do not override the rights of the others to participate in the forum. His actions deprived a whole room full of people of their rights.
I don’t see anything wrong with what he was doing. They began interrupting him very early in what he was saying. I guess because he wanted to preface his question with info he had obtained (as inaccurate as it may be), he was told to stop, which I find ridiculous. Stopping him is so anti-
American, it’s unbelievable. It’s not like he went up there drunk, cussing and calling Kerry names. He had pertinent questions. I don’t think someone should be stopped from talking just because they’re stupid. I’m surprised that so many on here agree with tazering someone for speaking what they think!!
