Australia's opposition Labor Party has questioned the need for female sailors to be given breast enlargements paid for with public money.
An armed forces spokesman defended the operations, saying they were carried out for psychological reasons, not to make sailors "look sexy".

Remember that the Liberal Party in Oz are the good guys (they’re our Conservatives). Labour is the left wing.
True.
Another question: I can see that the t-shirt color corresponds to the sticker on the uniform, does it have a special meaning?
It must, but I’m not sure what.
searching on keywords
Is a waste of time unless the keywords match those in the title as is indicated on the search, which is your friend, page.
squadron
There ya go...
Give them an acronym like PPFD’s [Permanant personal floatation devices} and make them a key part of the war on terror and you should be able to at least double the funding levels.
GROSS! You had to mention that! Now I'll have to wipe the salacious smirk off of my face";-)
“Lieutenant Lake, you’re almost out of uniform !”
> This post complies with the four hour guideline, Miss Drescher. Knowing the rules, which you obviously don't, can help prevent one from looking like a fool. Although in your case, that's debatable.

Geez, four hours and..... 25 minutes.
I'll point out that the same admin-mod post you refer to as the basis for the 4 hour guideline also says that 7 hours is still a judgment call, and that it's done on a case-by-case basis:
We have "GUIDELINES". About 4 hours. But a lot depends on the topic. Is it hot...? If you post the exact same article 7 hours later, but it's number two in the breaking news sidebar, should we pull it?... a lot 'depends' on the situation. Case by case.... Moderating doesn't have the 'if then else' rules... Mostly we have a set of rules......Mostly, we can't follow them.Nonetheless, I agree that the duplicate post was slightly over four hours later than the original, so strictly speaking it passes the "four hour guideline" and I yield the point.
> "...searching on keywords..." Is a waste of time unless the keywords match those in the title as is indicated on the search, which is your friend, page... Limitations: Only article titles can be searched and words with three or fewer letters are not searched at all.
I agree about the short words not being searched on. But perhaps you can explain this to me, since to my poor benighted eyes it appears that this permits searching on keywords:

Moreover, I just now picked a keyword that was misspelled in the duplicate post's keyword list ("enlagement"). Searching on that keyword resulted in this:

Sure looks to me like searching by keywords that aren't in the title works just fine. But if I'm missing some subtlety that only your greater knowledge can perceive, I beg that you grant me access to that insight. ;-)
Yes the US military does do breast implants for an incentive to reup. They claim it is to help the plastic surgeons keep their skills up.
The point is it’s not your judgment call, Einstein.
I never claimed it was -- I'm not an admin mod, and it's their call.
My original comment was only to point out that a simple search would have turned up an identically titled post only about four hours previous. In my experience, it's appropriate for the re-poster to reference (e.g. provide a link to, or at least mention) the prior post. If they don't, somebody else (usually a non-mod) adds that information; in this case it was me. It's not a big deal.
Sorry if you felt compelled to take offense at that; wasn't my intent.

Always liked this one myself...
