This one is a Brown Anole, Anolis sagrei sagrei, also called Cuban Anole. They stay closer to the ground than carolensis does. They don’t handle cold weather as well, I don’t think they live much further north than here. The Green Anole can be brown, but they don’t have the skin patterns.
