Free Republic Servers Slowing Down?

Anyone else notice it can take up to 10 - 15 seconds to post lately? One of the things I admired about FR technology- besides the design- was the instantaneous posting speed.
Does this has anything to to with more traffic or the volume of archives?

Anyone else notice it can take up to 10 - 15 seconds to post lately? If by "lately" you mean this morning, yeah. But I suspect it'll be fixed in short order, as usual.

Keep in mind the “traffic” could be ‘bots trying to
spam or vandalize.

I was thinking about the archiving recently. To keep ALL the archives for site must take a huge amount of storage space !!!
