Apparently, 20 minutes of action was all the Browns needed to see to make a change at quarterback.
Cleveland has traded former starting quarterback Charlie Frye to the Seattle Seahawks for a sixth-round pick, FOXSports.com has learned.
With Frye out of the picture, it should only be a matter of time before first-round pick Brady Quinn gets the nod as the starter.
The Seahawks have been in the market for a backup quarterback, which will free them up to use Seneca Wallace in other positions around the field.
The Browns will bring back Ken Dorsey, who was with the team in training camp, to serve as their third quarterback.

The Brady Quinn era will begin by week six, IMO.
NFL ping fodder.
Week Six? Try the second half this week.
This is going to be interesting for us Seahawk fans. Seneca's a unique player; won four games as Hasselbeck's back-up last year.
And most likely Quinn will end up like the last Cleveland QB who was thrown to the wolves in his rookie year, Tim Couch.
That qualifies as “by week 6.”
Week 8, I think. Six games then bye on week 7.
Interesting.
As of noon Frye was going to Atlanta....
“And most likely Quinn will end up like the last Cleveland QB who was thrown to the wolves in his rookie year, Tim Couch.”
The O-Line now is not nearly as bad as the O-Line then. I was at last week’s Browns/Steeler game and it was very obvious that Frye was in way over his head. The pro game is too fast for him.
WOW!
If the Falcons had any sense, they’d sign Byron Leftwich. He’s perfect for Petrino’s system.
The Ravens may need Leftwich far more than the Falcons, though.
Personally, I think Frye got a raw deal. That’s all I will say on this.
Quinn will begin by game four.
LOL, that has to be the quickest a QB has ever lost his job in the history of the NFL.
I wonder if Mel Kilper jr is going to change Dallas’ 2007 draft grade from a B to an A- for getting Cleveland’s 2008 first round draft pick?
‘If the Falcons had any sense,.....’
Ummmm, you see the faulty logic after I broke it out for you?
(chuckle)
They gave a journeyman quarterback 130 million dollars, remember?
Wow. Well, after Sunday’s game I’d like to see Matt Cassel gone, but then I felt that way last year. :)
I’ve pretty much ignored The Hair for the last two years. It’s worked out well. He grades drafts based on name recognition rather than actually filling needs based on value.
Vick by definition wasn’t a journeyman QB. He played exclusively for the Falcons.
