The wattage interests me. I just finished installing (and am now running the acceptance testing) a 126 node (plus several nodes for login, IO, and graphics) cluster that utilizes the quad core Intel chips (Clovertown).

This machine puts out temps of 135 F running at 100%. The wattage blew a few circuit breakers as well, so we had to update the electrical system.

I'd be interested to see what the temps on the back of a machine like this would be if it were running the Barcelona chips...

AnandTech did some power consumption testing in their Barcelona review. They didn't get to keep the systems for real long, but it seems to indicate that they do much better than Intel on that front.
