Seems to me like a child trying to get attention by being shocking.
80% of today’s comics meet this criteria. But only 1% have a show of their own on a seasonal basis.
Her show is based almost completely on ‘access’ to those higher on Hollywood’s food chain than herself. As such, to gain new material, she has to be around them.
Give her caustic comments ‘about Hollywood’ she has to balance it out by making these ‘oh so trendy’ comments for the beasts consumption.
Just my opinion. Damn shame. She has her moments of hilarity, but I won’t watch her again now.
That really makes sense. She does always seem acutely conscious of how she's perceived by the elites.
