Kathy Griffin's Bravo series "My Life on the D-List" won the Emmy for "Best Reality Program (non-competition).
Her speech was memorable, in which she refused to thank Jesus.
"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this. He had nothing to do with this," Griffin said. "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my God now."
The comic has won that Emmy shes long coveted.
Too bad the vehicle isn’t moving about 100 MPH
Until she accepts Jesus Christ as Savior, she is of her father the devil, as are all who are not born again.
Jesus got his revenge.....he gave her those small uneven boobs and that cheap wig.
Looks evil. Also looks like a man. Double whammy!
Yeah, but you know, God is patient.
Our sins bare us out and in the case of Kathy, her words were somewhat carefully chosen, granted from an antichristian perspective, but they amazing reveal something much deeper within her soul.
She comments about other people thanking Jesus. From somewhere within her she then takes the opposite view, commanding Jesus in a blasphemous utterance, which she is probably so callous about that she probably half way excuses herself by thinking he really doesn’t reign or possibly even exist.
Her next quip admits she has her God now, namely the Emmy. That in and of itself telegraphed past thinking in her heart which was idolotry and placed worldly aspirations before God.
Now here is an interesting predicament. She now has everything she wants. Next question and a testimony for all including herself to witness is, Are you now really satiated and happy with something other than God as the object of your faith?
It really doesn’t matter if she has been joking about these issues all along, her sins will bare her out.
He may have plans for her from eternity past which she has known absolutely nothing about and is about to get some shocking revelation.
My prayers are out that He remains faithful and through His grace, as an opportunity might arise touch her so that she might also find cause to turn to Him, through faith in Christ.
Remember, Saul did alot worse things to believers than Griffen has at present, and thank you Lord for the work you provided in Him.
FWIW, even though perhaps more shocking, I still found Sam Kennison more profoundly funny than Griffen, and I suspect he had a very good relationship with Him through Christ, albeit probably out of fellowship from time to time like so many of us and especially myself.
Excellent points.
I agree.
However, IF she refuses to repent etc. . . .
she IS headed for some very serious object lessons, discipline etc.
And, likely sooner than average for such folks.
Look for God’s wrath on anyone who desecrates His Holy Name.

I don’t know about ugly, but this is a woman?
May I suggest our prayers be for her. He will remain true to His pledge to us. But she must be awakened to the opportunity that may arise for her to aright herself with God. That's where our prayers should focus.
Right. sorry for the insult. ;)
good point, well taken..
lol. She's typical of the angry, disaffected Irish Catholic who doesn't just leave Christ, but flees from Him in disgust.
Sinnead O’Connor with hair and less brains.
LOL.
Like you, I been there, done that, years ago.
Movin on!
Leftist entertainer trashes Jesus. Nothing new here...I just hope she changes her tone before she gets to meet Him.
I have not read this thread as I am just coming on here so I don’t know if this has been said or not...but Regis Philbin is a big Democrat...sorry to break it to you.
You mean like 98% of all liberal women?
Yup. You're exactly right. Having never heard of this woman, I have no idea in what Faith tradition she was raised, but dollars to doughnuts, she was raised mildly Catholic, but will swear on a stack of Rosary Beads that they and she were a completely devout family until x happened.
