A week ago I ordered a A J Hawk Green Bay Packers jersey and it arrived today. Wow. It looks great. It’s the first NFL jersey I’ve eer bought. Hopefully A J Hawk will kill his wife or shoot any dogs.

Well why is it that I find Peyton Manning to be very annoying? Well anyway, the New Orleans Saints are now ahead of the Indianapolis Colts by the score of 10-7 and Peyton Manning has 3rd and 13. He goes ahead and throws an incomplete (almost intercepted) and the New Orleans Saints are going to get the ball back. This is good because now New Orleans will have the opportunity to score again and increase their lead over the Indianapolis Colts.

I actually managed to stay up for the whole game last night. While they looked a little sluggish in the first half, if the Colts can continue play at that level on offense and, more especially, defense, they have to be the odds-on favorites to win again this year.

Chargers v Bears looks to be a good one.
Bengals opening on Monday night against the Raven’s is the game with the biggest implications overall. Should be a great one. Bengals first game is ‘must win’ given the parity in the AFC North this year.
I can’t make up my mind if the Colts are that good, or the Saints offense is that freakin bad this morning.

Is there any way to know which games will be shown on a particular CBS or Fox affiliate, or is that sort of thing decided week-to-week, at the whim of the local station, or does the network make the decision?

My house has been subdued most of the first half, but just a few moments ago I got to listen to my MOTHER screaming over the phone when Nate Burleson took off on a 56 yard punt return....my 57 year old, wouldn’t say crap if she had a mouthful mother....SCREAMING “RUN YOU SONOFAB*TCH RUN!!!”
I think mom needs a glass of wine to calm her nerves.
