Andre Johnson deserves to have someone who can get him the football.
We will take him back in NE in a heart beat.
Welker fits into that trio as well.
No doubt. To paraphrase a line from the Tuna...it’s tough to make a good dinner when the person buying the groceries is a lousy shopper.
Aw hell everyone on the roster benefits from Moss.
Offensive line gave Brady so much time, he had no other option but to pass.
Because....
War and Peace has already been written.
I am glad Dallas got Cleveland’s first round draft pick.
Most likely. If we could carry over impressions from last year, you'd have to say that amongst the Colts, Chargers and Patriots, the Patriots win was minimally the more impressive, in that last year the Jets were a better team than the Saints - who got stomped by everyone in the AFC that they played, except Cleveland, who they beat in a close game - and a bit behind the Bears - who got solidly beat by the Patriots and stomped by the Dolphins while eking out a victory over the Jets and pounding the Bills - who managed to keep the Chargers from running riot on them. It's the first game of the season though, so we don't really know how they stack up this year.
Tell my wife I was “out on a case.”
There is Manning, then Brady/Brees/Palmer...then the rest of the quarterbacks in the NFL.
When all is said and done.....
Brady is the football equavilent of Bill Russell.
Manning is Wilt Chamberlin.
Both great both HOF players, I know who I want on MY team though.....
Hmmmm. So far that comparision has merit. That said, Manning isn’t done yet, nor is Brady.
Damn the Pats looked tough yesterday. My bengals play em in a month....
but first, we play tonight.
The Bears play very well...against the NFC. Depends on how well Rivers is throwing the ball, you know Da Bearssss will focus on stopping LT, just like everybody else.
I think the Bears will stuff the run with an extra linebacker in the box and blitz someone from the defensive backfield on passing situations. Unlike Manning, they think that they can get to Rivers and make him throw the ball into coverage or cough it up. Even though the Bears are conservative in their defensive approach, IMHO they will gamble more on the Chargers home turf.
It should be fun to watch.
Wrecks Grossman beat the Bears yesterday....a pattern those of us that don’t follow the Bears wonders how long it will be allowed to continue.
Even ass wipe Shaughnessy from the Glob. Someone else for him to talk about besides Schilling.
‘He had a receiver quit on a route in the 1st half that resulted in a pick. This is an offensively challenged team.’
You get one of two Wrecks Grossman’s in any given Bears game from what I’ve seen.
The one that can’t seem to get through a game without fumbling a snap, who is wide eye’s and clearly frightened.
Or the other one that shows up about five times per year, that appears ‘competent’.
Just my opinion, lookin over the fence into the NFC playground.
Its my view the disparity between the AFC and NFC is so great there were at least three teams that could have beaten the Wrecks led Bears in the Super Bowl last year.
I see. Well not to worry, the Cowboys Nation is a welcoming fold and we take in wayward fans from the dark side all the time. You will be assimilated.
All four division champions, and perhaps the Jets. ...maybe the Broncos too. I didn't see enough of the Chiefs, but my impression is that they won more games than they should have.
Can they just go ahead and award the “Rookie of the Year” to Adrian Peterson already?
I’ve been trying to give my Gator Grossman the benefit of the doubt, but after yesterday, I’m worried for the boy.
