Around the early 1200's the English Nobles capitalized on their influence and the first inklings of democracy was resurrected in western civilization.
Magna Carta.
The ruthless English monarchy was later overthrown by the American colonists, and the Empire was clearly done for after that, but not at once.
Then, some time later, the real fruits of British imperialism began to manifest in certain not so pretty fashion.
The absolute mess that the short term (and not so short on arrogance)minded British evacuated portions of their physical empire, but not before impacting the entire world with certain admirable notions, and a most complex language.
Among the huddled masses are the sons and daughters of a certain type of misfits who will never be happy in any setting.
Such vermin have now somehow gained prominence because they are incessantly involved in such antics as "street theater" and other endeavors designed to garner undo influence in our Society.
Those other endeavors often include the insidious takeover by political misfits of our schools, media, and local government.
If you really want a lesson on how thing work here in the former colony, I'd suggest that you read more, and post less.
