A first look at KDE 4 beta 2

I've been following KDE 4 development very closely for quite a while and have noticed several neat features that have been independently cropping up all over the system in the last year. Perhaps it is the emergence of the new visual themes that make it feel fresh and new, but I get the feeling from this build that I'm finally starting to see the big picture.

Still in beta...... The stability and features are poping up.

I know I can't lie. The only thing I'm really looking forward to in KDE4 is the performance increases. LOL

I believe the next iteration of Kubuntu might just be my official Linux jumping in point. I really tried with Feisty, but it just didn't go.

The new wireless improvements to the kernel and KDE 4.0 will probably put me over the hump.

Get some anti aliasing comparable to Microsoft cleartype and I’ll go Linux. Plus make adjusting screen resolution simple. It never is whenever I have tried Linux

No laptop. I use an LCD monitor digitally connected to a 2.5Ghz computer. I want the sharpest text possible and so far cleartype does it. Apple may do it to but I’m not interested in them. Linux or Windows XP
