Homemade peach ice cream sounds lovely!
My sister-in-law picked me up some peaches at the store Friday, but they’re not very good. Fresh Georgia peaches are the best!
I will be having some strawberries and ice cream later. (My “lunchtime” will be around 1 or 2 am today.) ;)
Going to roast a chicken, too. Delicious, little labor involved food.
I was just at the doctor a couple of weeks ago. The same ole, same ole stuff is (duh!) about the same; good news was that the blood tests revealed only good stuff (no diabetes, good cholesterol levels, no thyroid problems, etc.). Sometimes life gives us challenges where we only recognize the symptoms and can’t figure out the cause.
Hi Fawnn, I should have sent ya a lobster!
BBH’s
The peach crops in, in Ohio. Go get it while it is fresh.
:0)
I guess that means I should quit sittin’ here on my porch, waitin’ for the overnight delivery guy to show up with my lobsters, eh? ;)
I’ll have to see if I can track down some Ohio peaches.
The ones I have now are from the supermarket: They look pretty on the outside, but they’re pithy on the inside. Probably grown in China. ;)
Oh I did.
Mike is an Air Force Officer with 2 kids now.
Chelsea is off to college this year.
Shes a “greenie” and wants to go to Bowdian.
Didnt see Scottys folks. We was supposed to meet Stuart and his wife at the balloon festival.
I was up in Bath, and thought of Grammy Tanner et al
Of course that presumes yer trained on how to dismantle those creatures!!!
They gang ate lil’ one pounders.
I showed that one to Mr.LUV. He was amazed that it just
looked like the people should be moving. He wondered why
it isn’t pixellated (sp?).
I guess tinypics does a good job!...so does my BB!
The Ohio ones are ripe now.
Not the best crop ive ever tasted, but WAY better than anything they sell in the supermarkets. Bleh! styrofoam food
Have you tried Fredericksburg peaches, MY? They’re supposed
to be awesome.
Nope. Havent had Tx blueberries either L0L
:D
Never HEARD of Texas blueberries!
I want more Maine ones! :(
Fredricksburg is a lovely town.
Best suited to vinyards I would say.
They have wonderful flower fields as well there. Tons of lavender
The operator of it is not as smart as it is tho...
That is one gorgeous panorama .. sweet.
I never heard of Tx peaches!
We have a blueberry farm about 15 mi from here but its just not the same
They really are known for their peaches. Try them sometime!
FRESH ones off the back of a truck straight from F-burg!
I can see it being wine country.
Didn’t know about the lavender.
It’s been awhile since I tackled a lobster. If I were going to make fresh lobster, I’d want to do it when my nephew can be here to help. (He’s the only other one in the family with “fresh lobster experience.” Lobster isn’t very common here on the west coast of Ohio.) He’s back in college this week, so getting him here will be difficult to coordinate.
I’ll just drool until it can become a reality. ;)
The lobster and lobster rolls and chowder and other stuff you guys had in Maine sure sounded good!
I’ll bet they’re not nearly as sweet as the Maine blueberries from a little lady on the side of the road!
