To: Nowhere Man
When I was a kid, it seemed like Easter was tied or at least just "this much" ahead of Thanksgiving in the pecking order of holidays. Today, it seems like Easter is barely above the signal to noise ratio.

I'm sure you noticed, too, that the week we got off school was "Easter Vacation." and fell during Holy Week. Today it's called "Spring Break" and comes whenever. And it's famous (or infamous, if you prefer) for bacchanalian hijinks.

Wow do you not have Easter holidays? In Britain the schools are off during that period and Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays.
