Good pics, snugs, it is almost like I'm there. Would like to see the UK someday with all the old buildings and history. BTW, do you celebrate Labor (Labour) Day in the UK, I THINK they do in Canada, I'm not sure. BTW, I've been meaning to run to the store but Corky (18) keeps wanting to be fed so that's why I'm on the computer. She's doing pretty good, not sure, but I think she is putting a little weight on although she could use more, but as the vet said, older cats do tend to lose some weight plus she is diabetic and has some kidney problems. She still quite stroing though, if she really had to, she could jump =3+ feet up to the bathroom sink to have a drink.

No we do not have Labour Day in September we have May Day which is the first Monday in May.

This is a wonderful website set up by a primary school in Kent which gives many details of British life and traditions. The origins of this website is that the school was looking for something similar based at children of about 8 - 11 about France to compliment their French lessons. They could not find such as site and it got them thinking is there an English website about English traditions etc and on finding there was not started one. It now has a full time maintenance staff though is still based around Woodlands Primary School.
