No special plans. I just figure Labor Day signals the end of the very hot and humid summer. I used to hear that one should not wear white after Labor Day.
Though we do not have a holiday this weekend the first Saturday in September to me always signals the end of summer and you get that back to school feeling even if it is over 30 years since you left.
