The title says it. I've got a MS optical laser MS mouse 5000 and I don't know how to click the magnifier "off."

thanx.

First look for a mouse icon in your system tray and see the settings there. If you can’t find anything, look in the accessibility options of the control panel.

Did you click it on with the button on the mouse or using the “Accessibility Features” within the OS? I’m assuming XP?

Lou, since there are a variety of ways that magnify could have gotten turned on, I’d suggest this to get rid of it.

From the start menu:

1. In Windows XP select “run” and enter magnify in the command window. Then click the X to close the magnify window. This should turn off magnify.

2. In Windows Vista there is no longer a run command by default. Instead type magnify in the “start seach” box. then close the magnify window. This should turn off magnify.

Note: It is possible yo have a third party app running that is causing the problem. If this method doesn’t work just post and I can help you with “plan b”
