Interesting choice on the distro, I have worked with Redhats workstation up to RHEL4 and was never too impressed. I would have thought they would have done suse..

Interesting choice on the distro, I have worked with Redhats workstation up to RHEL4 and was never too impressed. I would have thought they would have done suse..HP certified suse for use on their systems. Maybe the Novell/Micro$oft deal cooled their enthusiasm.

In Australia.... the basic problem is wireless card drivers. My advice is to install Linuxant drivers within the operating system, then wipe it off the hard drive. Guess what? During the next reinstallation, your Linux distro should automagickally recognize your new wireless card drivers and after you put in your connection info, boot you to the Internet with the KInternet tool.

Red Hat is still the standard in the business world. So that’s what they go with, the safe choice.
