Harp is great while you are awaiting for your Guinness to be poured. I also prefer Half & Halfs over Black & Tans.

“I wish I could get my hands on some Shiner Bock, but no luck finding it in New England, so far.”
It worries a good number of us Texans that it is being shipped outside of Texas. We fear that the taste will dimenish being shipped so far and foreigners(aka non-Texans) will not like.

The problem with PBR and Lonestar today is that they are owned and brewed by Miller now. Lonestar is still a good I will be out in the sun all day light beer.

Best beer I ever tasted was 7 years ago, when my company sent me to Stuttgart, Germany. The local brewery there, Swabanbrau, made a beer called “Das Swartze”, translation: “The Black.” It had the color and consistency of Guinness, but the taste was wonderful!!!! I can’t find anything in the US that even comes close!!!!

Go to a local homebrew supply house-they have kits you can get into for well under 100.00, and if you don’t like it-the buckets and materials can be used for other things.
They have all kinds of free advice
Mr Beer makes a kit for around 35.00, but I would avoid that (Even tho it got me started) The recipes make for an acid, vinegary taste.

I’d say Chimay is my favorite beer.
However, Sierra Nevada is my daily drink.
That is when I’m out of home brew.
Bottled: American Pale
Secondary: Strong Golden Belgium

No, I don’t either, never have, never will...I’ll have a root beer too! Barq’s is pretty good and when I was a kid we had an A&W Rootbeer place, best rootbeer!
