Very interesting. Frankly, the only thing that keeps me from moving to Linux outright is the hit-and-miss aspect of getting devices to work. Driver disasters have plagued me every time I have tried to make the jump.

Well, that and the fact that games rarely get released in a Linux version.

Well games are not going to change anytime soon, if you cant take the performance hit of using WINE then Linux improbably is not for you. But I have allot of hope the driver issues are going to start improving. For years youve been able to get devices to work but they were always back engineered drivers, now with Dell and HP selling linux desktops there will be more pressure on device and peripheral manufactures to release drivers.
