I am not going to join...I played once and won 2 games the entire year.
Plus I will not be able to do the Live Draft as I am on the west coast and will be at work.

There’s a player ranking feature that’ll automatically draft for you based on who’s available. I’ll be around for the draft, but I’m using it just in case.

Speaking of that ranking feature, you can also exclude players you don’t want to draft. I’ve already eliminated Rex Grossman, quite a few Raiders, and nearly the entire Jets offense. (That team’s due for a massive correction.)

I am having a hard time figuring out how to use that...
How do I set it up so I will automatically draft the best available player? Do I have to hit a special button or will the computer automatically pick for me when my draft selection spot comes up?

Go to the pre-draft player rankings section. On the left-hand side is a list of players; in the red title bar of that section, there’s a text blurb that says Edit My Rankings.

I think I see what is going on. If you do not edit the rankngs—will the computer automatically choose me the “best” available player? I guess my question is-—do I need to pick a feature like-”auto-selection”? or will that happen on its own if I am not here to manually make the pick?

If you aren’t there to pick, the site automatically picks for you based on the player rankings; it’ll automatically choose the highest-ranked player on your list, regardless of position. (So if you’ve got Rex Grossman ranked 4th, and you draft 4th, watch out.)

But if you’re there for the draft, you get to make the choices, and it won’t automatically pick for you.

Grossman is ranked 134....
Does the computer fill in the correct postions? Meaning will it pick QB,RB,WR, ect...? I think it must have to fill in your roster (?), not just players in order of rank...
Its a bit confusing for a newbie to figure out.

From what I can tell, it picks according to position, then rank. So if you've got a QB ranked #1 and an RB #2, but you need an RB, then it'll take the RB. But if you've got both the QB and RB slots open, it'll take the QB over the RB, since the QB is ranked #1.

And, yes, Grossman is ranked 134, but that's the default rating. You can rank him #1 on your own list, if you want.

I’m just gonna let the computer do my rankings and picks, I really have no clue how the fantasy rules/rankings work. I understand that I will have to fill in my roster each week, but the draft part is a little more than I want to get into.
