It sounds like an interesting bunch of folks. I’m looking forward to this season of Survivor.
Or they stand in front of tanks, and see who gets run over.
They play with dolls! See who survives!
Chicken licks Thomas the Engine, will he survive?!
Just under 36 hours to go!
Here are a few vid caps of Jeffs tour of the new Tribal Council set.
Vid caps courtesy of the folks at Survivor Phoenix.com

OK, I’m ready! Rock on.
Hey!
It looks like it has a roof. Is this the first TC area that has had a roof? No teams sitting out in a dark and stormy night?
It took some digging, but the answer to your question is no. This is not the first TC are that has had a roof.
The first TC to be held under roof was season 4, Survivor: Marquesas. Of course then it was a thatched roof on a log pole structure, but a roof none the less.
Next came season 5, Survivor: Thailand with TC held in a replica of a temple on stilts out over the water.
And lastly, we had Survivor-Panama: Exile Island which was held in a man made cave.
The most represented hometown city is Los Angles (and the surrounding suburbs.)
The second being New York City.
60.75% of the first four players booted from the game have been female. While 39.25% have been male.
With the exception of the very first season (Borneo) and the last season (Fiji), every season in between had a male player being the first player to get the boot following the Tribal Merge.
The average makeup of the Jury has been 48% female and 52% male.
However, the average makeup of the Final four have been 52% female and 48% male.
The average age of all the players to date (including this season) is 33.34 years old.
Rudy was the oldest player at 76 years of age (during Survivor: All Stars) while Frosti from the current season is the youngest at 20.
The average age of all the male players to date is 34, while the average age of the females is 32.7.
The median age of all the male players to date is 31, while the median age of all the female players is 29. The average age of the players for this season is 30, while the median age is 28.5.
And of course the most important tidbit of info:
Of the 14 winners so far, 8 have been male and 6 have been female.
And of the last 7 winners, 5 have been male and only 2 have been female.
So, statistically speaking, we are due for a female winner this season.
I think technically, 9 males have won Survivor, since Rupert did get a million for being the fan favorite.
I’m really looking forward to watching the Parkour guy in action.
big Tom was always so funny to me with the things he said and his accent. :)
Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen,
Yep! Its me once again with your:
SURVIVOR PING!
The Fei Long (flying dragon) Tribe: Red Buffs
Aaron, Amanda, Courtney, Denise, James, Jean-Robert, Leslie, Todd
The Zahn Hu (fighting tiger) Tribe: Yellow Buffs
Ashley, Dave, Erik, Jaime, Frosti, Peih-Gee, Sherea, Chicken
The title of tonights episode is: A Chicken's a Little Bit Smarter
Well, its been a long wait, but the new season of Survivor starts tonight.
And as usual, the first episode of any season will be spent introducing the players to the game.
We already know that the players will take part in a Buddhist ceremony in a real temple, after which they will be stranded with just the clothes on their backs at their respective camps. We also know (according to Jeff) that during the first few days, the players will be subjected to torrential downpours that even flood out one of the camps.
And experience has shown us that the first episode of any season will have only one challenge for Immunity (and fire for the winning tribe). This challenge will be the dancing dragons obstacle course and quest for fire as shown in the following vidcap.
So, without further ado, here is:
Reward Challenge Winner: No reward challenge this week
Immunity Challenge Winner: The Fei Long Tribe
Voted out: Steve Chicken Morris
Ill be back Monday morning with a recap of tonights episode, so till then,
Take Care,
FReepmail me if you want added to (or removed from) the Survivor Ping List.

Notable Survivor Quote:
"Tom's feet stink worse than anyone's feet I've smelled on the planet earth.
He's got some funk down there that I've never smelled before."
Ethan Zohn, Survivor Africa
I’m already glad to see Chicken go because I think he will wear thin fast.
By looking at his picture I would've never guessed. /s/
I thought Courtney was rude to mock the temple priest. Plus the way she talks. I hope Courtney goes ASAP. It might have not been her but whoever said they are not wearing a bra is stupid to say it and to just not be wearing underwear.
It was too easy. My wife was watching , I looked up from the book I was reading and said, “ The old white guy will be first to go.”
Any word on The Amazing Race? I know I can get these shows mixed up sometimes but I miss TAR. It is the fastest hour.
Cuz, do you know where I can download the episode. Our TIVO just stopped recording it halfway through.
It’s the first time that has happened.
