One Christmas I scored big time. I got the Hopalong Cassidy outfit that included hat, shirt, wrist cuffs, pants, boots and twin holster rig with two silver Hoppy pistols.

I remember the sound and smell of those shots as I fanned my pistols and brought the bad guys down!

I bet you looked terrific. Did you have chaps? Sometimes my brothers would let me play with them and I pretended to be Annie Oakley. They’d let me have ONE measly roll of caps. Nothing like the smell of caps!
