EUGENE, Ore. A seat belt saved a driver, police say, but not in the usual way. Steven Earp, 48, was eating a fast-food sandwich Wednesday morning, said police Sgt. Doug Mozan. Earp choked and blacked out. His 1997 Honda sedan hit a parked car. After the wreck, Earp came to. Mozan attributed his revival to a "seat-belt-induced Heimlich maneuver."

He’s lucky that the airbag didn’t deploy and shove the sandwich back into his mouth.
I’ve yet to find a seat belt that doesn’t choke the life out of me.
Have a friend who was in a car wreck, her seatbelt saved her life in a collision but it caused her ribs to collaspe on one lung, she survived. She would of been slung thru a window of the car otherwise.
