Microsoft may not like this much - remember, most versions of Vista cant be legally used in a virtualization environment because of MSs licensing terms. That's not true any more. MS had to allow the other versions to run as guests also. They changed a couple of weeks ago.

That's not true any more. I just checked the license at Microsoft's site (PDF), and it still says you can't virtualize Basic or Premium. Do I have an old version?

What do you mean, “They had to”? Did the government or someone make them do so?
