Strictly speaking, this is not really a Homebrew thread but I thought it was interesting enough to ping you.
So, any bets on if the brew is skunked or not?
I see that cork as its Achilles heel....
On or off this low volume Ping List, let me know.
Cheers,

Interesting that it has a paper label.
I used to collect old bottles as a kid, and I excavated may a 1800’s beer bottle. None of then contained product.
Blatz used to bottle their beer in earthenware bottles with the name blatz fired into the glaze
I have excavated many medicine bottles with product still in them

I know what you mean, if you click my profile page you will see some cufflinks and a bunch of fish. Ignore the fish but the cufflinks were baught for 2 bucks and sold on ebay for $736. On a side note, it probably cost me that much to catch those fish LOL.

Put me in the skunked column. No way a brew will stay lively or fresh after 150 years. Of course, it’ll still probably be better than drinking a Miller or Bud...

I have a few vintages of Thomas Hardy’s Old Ale, and a half-dozen or so Sam Adams Triple Bocks, that I am saving for retirement, in 20 years or so....

Yeah, one wonders how they confirm the bidder can afford over $300,000 ????
To: AnalogReigns
If you are the seller, you can view the buyers profile and what they have confirmed buys in the past. I thought the same thing when I sold the above mentioned cuff links, lots of high rollers on ebay.
