Interesting that it has a paper label.
I used to collect old bottles as a kid, and I excavated may a 1800’s beer bottle. None of then contained product.
Blatz used to bottle their beer in earthenware bottles with the name blatz fired into the glaze
I have excavated many medicine bottles with product still in them
