Lindsay's (Lohan) Bodyguard Tells All
hollywood scoop ^ | 08.09.07

Posted on 08/09/2007 8:10:04 AM PDT by Perdogg

We all know Lindsay Lohan is in a precarious situation, but who's to blame for her troubles? Her bodyguard of three years Tony Almeida is talking and he’s blaming Michael and Dina Lohan for not providing a structure for the starlet. He claims Lindsay’s parents were anything but normal with their wild and abusive lifestyle which Lindsay financially supported.

Almeida reveals to In Touch, "From a young age, she dealt with her father's physical, emotional and drug abuses as well as her mother's drinking." Tony reveals one incident where Michael threw Lindsay against the cars hood and called her a slut. Not to mention the constant pressure Lindsay had from her mother to make some cash in order to pay the bills. Lindsay was a "cash cow" working non stop and got away with doing anything as long as the bills were paid.

Tony believes Dina was desperate to become a star herself and as Lindsay's 'manager' received 10 percent of her income. Both parents would look the other way as Lindsay began a life of partying, boys, drugs and booze.

The Parent Trap.

She kind of likes that one too, but it is incomprehensible to her.

Maybe in the 1960s audiences could swallow the concept of a divorced mother and father splitting up a set of twins and never letting them know about each other or about their other parent.

But nowadays it just seems a really vicious thing to do and makes both parents look like evil people.

The film is well-done and entertaining but the premise is about as farfetched as Herbie.

It’s amazing what sort of stuff passed for wholesome family entertainment back then. Something like 'Seven Brides For Seven Brothers' is basically a patriarchal rape fantasy.

The only way she will ever turn in a Streep like performance is if she can somehow convince an insurance co. to cover her, which at this time from what i’ve read is almost impossible. even if she cleans her act up by that time she may be long forgotten like many other actors from the past.
Did you see that letter from a studio head sent to her a few months back? wasn’t pretty. he stated if she did not get her ass in on time starting tomorrow he would sue her for every penny on the tens of thousands of dollars lost due to her bad behavior.
I think she’s a lost cause.

If she cleans up her act and works for scale in an acclaimed independent film or two, demonstrating a track record of keeping clean and working hard, she will be back in major productions well before her sell-by date.

She's definitely the hottest of the Scank Pack.

I guess you'd call her the Pack Leader.

Scank Pack:

Paris Hilton
Nicole Richie
Britney Spears
Lyndsey Lohan

LOL! Kind of like a scrubbed-up Peckinpah musical.

Speaking of which, what did you think of Ride The High Country? I marvel that the film was made in 1961.

I’d add Cristina Aguilera and the DEN MOTHER of the Skank Pack, Madonna.

I haven't seen Aguilera in the news lately?

Is she in rehab too?

I don’t dislike her and I hope your right. She is just another chapter in the book of child actor horror stories.
It’s really unfortunate when you consider many of her peers never seem to make it into the tabs. Like Hillary Duff, Amanda Bynes etc..
Maybe she should spend a little time with with those girls to maybe get a clue.
Apparently being known as a famous Party Slut is more important to her than being known as a well respected, accomplished actress.

she is actually very talented at what she does and could have a very long and rewarding career.

True, but Hollywood is full of ambitious young actresses who have as much talent as Lohan. You don't really hear much of them because they are not out crashing their cars drunk and snorting blow up their noses at the trendiest clubs each night.

It is easy for produces to write these problem stars off when their are better-behaved girls lining up around their block to take the places.

I predict it will be a long time (if ever) before Lohan stars in another blockbuster. She may have a comeback --Americans are forgiving people, but she'll have an uphill battle from here for it.

It’s quite good. A great farwell to the West of actors like Joel McCrea and Randolph Scott. Made at around the same time as the equally de-mythologizing ‘The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance’ and ‘Lonely Are the Brave’ RTHC must be seen in the widescreen ‘Scope frame or not at all.

Believe it or not, MOMA had a Peckinpah retrospective a few years back and I saw RTHC, The Wild Bunch and Straw Dogs on the big screen as intended.

No. She got married, pulled her act together and released a stellar album.

When you stay at home (or at work) and live a quiet, low key life, it makes it more difficult for the paparazzi to get photos of you stumbling down drunk and flashing your cootchie at the clubs --hence, you are no longer in the news much.

‘Lonely Are the Brave’

I watch that one occasionally, mostly because it has Deputy Tom Herrera in a bit part. He was the only deputy in the East Mountains from 1943 to 1973 - an amazing lawman.
