So, I came home ‘spectin’ to get to start painting ‘cause I sent Jr. a text message that said “did you caulk?”

He said he did. When I got home and looked I said “can you tell me exactly ~where~ you caulked?”

“On the seam between the boards, I forgot where else.

So, I caulked and taped and will start painting Thursday night (choir tomorrow night).

At least I found out the toilet is leaking...

But since I got home, I also...fixed the air purifier filter, fed the fish, did a load of dishes, did two loads of laundry and got Luke and myself dinner (Mrs. is on her way out of town fer business).

I’m just sayin’ is all...

OK, you win.

I did make it to Office Depot and Value Village for a few things I needed, and fed the dog. But that’s kind of a pathetic list, I guess...

Heh, I'm a slacker. I've only been out on the scaffold since 3pm painting the north gable wall of the house. ;o) I'm working on the areas around and below the lower windows right now. Got the front part done yesterday, the middle today, and will do the rear section tomorrow. Then I get to raise the scaffold even higher to do the area between the upper and lower windows. We had a friend who owns a painting company have his guys do the upper part of the gable wall last year.

It's hard work, though. We have western red cedar siding with the rough side out and you really have to work hard to get complete coverage into the texture of the siding.
